MEET YOUR COLLABORATOR
SARAH WALK IS A LOS ANGELES BASED SINGER/SONGWRITER/PRODUCER AND EDUCATOR. AFTER GRADUATING FROM BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC WITH A SONGWRITING MAJOR IN 2013, SHE BEGAN WORKING ON HER DEBUT ALBUM IN LONDON. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, SHE SIGNED WITH LONDON BASED RECORD LABEL ONE LITTLE INDEPENDENT (BJORK, ASGEIR, LAURA MISCH) AND METROPOLIS MUSIC PUBLISHING.
SINCE THEN, SARAH HAS WRITTEN AND CO PRODUCED TWO SUBSEQUENT FULL LENGTH ALBUMS ALONGSIDE LEO ABRAHAMS (BRIAN ENO, IMOGEN HEAP, REGINA SPEKTOR) AND GRAMMY AWARD WINNING TYLER CHESTER (SARA BAREILLES, MARGARET GLASPY). SARAH HAS TOURED EXTENSIVELY IN THE UK, GERMANY, AUSTRIA AND THE US. HER MUSIC HAS BEEN FEATURED ON NETFLIX, APPLE TV, MTV, VH1, SPORTSNET, AND SHORT FILMS. SHE HAS CO WRITTEN SONGS WITH TOP TEN MAJOR LABEL ARTISTS, INDIE ARTISTS, AND FIRST TIME SONGWRITERS.
SARAH HAS HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF TEACHING SONGWRITING AT BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC SUMMER PROGRAMS, CHALLENGE AMERICA (FACILITATING SONGWRITING TO VETERANS EXPERIENCING PTSD ALONGSIDE MUSIC THERAPY PROGRAMS), GIRLS ROCK AND ROLL CAMPS, CHILDREN’S MUSIC CLASSES, AND INDIVIDUAL MENTORSHIP.
